WHO AM I?

I’m Fabiana, — though most people call me Fabi — the founder of A Fabi Snooze Sleep Consultant. I’m originally from Italy, and now living in Scotland with my little girl Corah, two crazy dogs and a husband.

When I’m not working, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, reading, or snuggled up on the sofa with a hot cup of coffee.

I’ve become a certified sleep consultant because I have a deep passion for psychology, children, and helping parents who, like me, are navigating the beautiful — and sometimes overwhelming — journey of parenthood.

As I continue this journey myself, I’m here to support other parents in finding rest and peace for their families too.

WHY CHOOSE ME?

As an infant and toddler sleep consultant, my approach is rooted in a deep understanding of child development, psychology, and sociology alongside my OCN certification in sleep consultancy. I combine expert knowledge with a warm, compassionate approach to help families navigate sleep challenges.

My journey into sleep consultancy began with the birth of my daughter. I quickly realised that while there is plenty of information about what a baby needs, from feeding to developmental milestones, guidance around sleep can often be confusing and conflicting. It’s one of the most essential aspects of a baby’s wellbeing, yet the advice out there left me feeling overwhelmed, unsure and isolated.

Before becoming a parent, I was an outdoorsy, active person. I loved hiking, walking, and spending time with my two dogs. One of my biggest fears about having a baby was being too tired to do the things I loved. I was fortunate to have a smooth pregnancy, but it came with its own set of challenges.

The discomfort made it difficult for me to sleep and at the same time all I heard from other mums was, “Enjoy your sleep now, because once the baby comes, you’ll never sleep again.”

When Corah was born, her nights and days were completely reversed, and for a while, it felt like everyone’s warnings had come true. I found myself exhausted, struggling to get the sleep I so desperately needed and wondering if I’d ever get back to the active lifestyle I enjoyed.

That was the turning point for me. I refused to believe that sleep deprivation had to be my new reality, and I became determined to find a solution.

After improving Corah’s sleep, I started to get more rest myself, I felt I could be a more present mum and had the energy to enjoy my adventures again — this time with my little one.

Now I support other parents who, just like I was, are struggling with their baby’s sleep — and, in turn, with their own wellbeing.
